Somatic cell cloning:
Any cell that is not a reproductive cell or germ cell is a somatic cell. Transfer of a somatic cell nucleus into the enucleated egg of a closely related species allows for the genetic component of that organism to be recovered.
Not normally considered as cloning but relying on the same technical manipulations would be germ cell nuclear transfer. This would entail the storage of diploid germ cell or stem cell nuclei that are injected into enucleated donor eggs.
